Park Brochures

For this project, I was challenged to create two brochures... one heavy with images and one heavy with text. I based my brochure off of Leslie Science and Nature Center, a local park in Ann Arbor targeted towards children.

Overview

To prepare for a brochure design, I explored how brochures are currently designed by looking towards the ones I could find locally. By critically looking at existing brochures, I was able to understand how different folding techniques and typographic decisions could affect the experience of the information that is being conveyed. Through this research, I went on to create two brochures for the Leslie Science Center, choosing my target audience to be children who are visiting the park. Through extensive iteration, I developed my own design process and was able to find a creative solution to this given challenge.
